Well after my stupid posting Saturday night I got through yesterday which was rubbish as I fully expected :-/

Feel little lousy - like I slept with window open all night in the artic !

But no hangover so mentally stronger :-)

Rainy, Your here again because , you had a break. Next time you feel your going get on here, or think how long it took to a, get back to where you were. b, the time it takes to get back on the wagon. It's not worth testing the water or taking a day off.
Get those days ticking by and feel the pride, you know you can,now you've just got to keep going.
I never truly felt I'd given up until the moment I was offered a drink and realised just how pointless one was and how damaging it would all be.
Life gets better, down days are just that , not weeks as they can be whilst drinking and eventually you see how limiting life was , can't drive after 6 shouldn't always drive in the morning. Friendships relationships are often pointlessly difficult and the total joys and highs of sobriety are long standing and true.
Keep here and wait for the changes don't drink till they start to happen and once they do you'll never want to drink again.
