So as some of you may know im not even one day into being sober I feel good today as im on here and don't have money to drink but I have a holiday coming soon where alcohol is on tap pretty much and a possible job .these are stressfull times and I worry I will drink again

If you have to go i would make a plan for what you can do to stay sober whilst on holiday. Keep yourself and your mind busy and occupied so you are less focused on alcohol. There will most likely be plenty of activities on holiday that you can enjoy that do not involve drinking. You can choose to not drink. Be strong and keep focused on your recovery.

its with one family member ...I know I want to quit but how strong am I .I just went out for a walk and craved so much

Hi, that's going to happen for a while but the important thing is that the longer you ignore these cravings and that voice saying 'I'd love a drink' the easier it will become.

It depends on what sort of holiday it is. All inclusive week away with the guys where drinking is the main activity then it's going to be hard. A week away with a relative who doesn't drink is probably going to be easier. Does your relative drink? Do they thing it's a week away drinking or is it an activity holiday or something

yeah she drinks but its more of a relaxing holiday..i hope everything will be ok im not feeling to bad atm being on here and youtube helps
