Well, I finally hit the one year mark.
Im incredibly grateful to this site, because it was all I had for a while, clinging to terrible AV and physical problems. Y'all got me through some dark days.
Seemed like PAWS lasted FOREVER too.
Its incredible how much better I finally feel.
This is the longest period of sobriety Ive had since the age of 13.
No alcohol, nicotine, weed, painkillers, or anything else. Nothing.
Anyhow, thanks to all of you for the support, and thanks to Dee for putting up with me when I was experiencing what I would call "rigid thinking" Getting kicked off of here might have been a real problem for me, so your tolerance of my antics is duly noted and please accept my apologies for being a difficult individual.
Hoping to keep sharing on here, and hopefully I can contribute something of my experience to help others. I figure Im somewhat an expert on addiction, its one thing I did pretty well for thirty years or so.

As a former addict, I beam with pride when I read of another's successes. You have every right to be amazingly proud of yourself. Good on you for making decisions to move your life forward! You won't regret it! Sending big high-fives your way!!
