A small break from it to recharge and restore
A number of posts latt have me thinking how we plod ahead with the hard stuff on our life (many with active As and all that brings) and our own recovery, and that feels so exhausting and full when handling work, parenting, life.
I guess I'm seeing quotes that resonate right in time, but here's another I wanted to share. Just saw it in a magazine:
"Every person needs to take one day away. A day in which one consciously separates the past from the future. A day in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for." ~Maya Angelou, Wouldn't Take Nothibg For My Journey Now
Seems so fitting, with all on our shoulders. To recharge and really have a chance to let go.
I sure would love a day like this. I'm going to aim for next Sunday, think of how to really do this, then let it be.
Hugs to you all, here's to that.

what's wrong with making that day TODAY?
i'm deep in the midst of a day where nothing much will happen. not if I can help it anyways!!! the highlight so far is a toss up between breakfast and the newly cleaned windows in the front room. and I managed to "cram" ALL that in by 1:20pm!!!! whew...must.slow.down.
