Feeling Calm
After my "emotional and physical roller coaster from the pits of hell" in my first week sober I am feeling much calmer in my second week and very grateful for that. This forum has helped massively!
It really helps keep me focussed by posting a little something every morning.
Hope everyone is well out there, especially stevenw198 and newpower!!!

Congratulations on your second week! I'm pleased to say I'm still fighting the good fight and winning I'm now on day 8. I was really irritable on Saturday so decided to take my daughter out for the day and the distraction helped. I've haven't posted for a couple of days because I've been keeping myself busy.
This was the first weekend in about 15 years that I haven't had a drink and I wanted to put my hangover free days to good use. So I climbed 'the cobbler' a mountain in Scotland on Sunday and went to a seaside village yesterday with my family. I'm feeling really good at the minute and it's great to see your still posting.
Keep up the good work my friend.
