I'm just 1 day shy if two weeks.. which I'm really proud of. Keeping myself busy with work .. family . and healing. I have gotten into a bit of a depression .. but instead if turning to alcohol .. I went to my dr. yesterday. I'm not one for prescription pills .. but she recommended mea very low dose of trazadone.. 25mg for sleep and depression . I took half a tab last nite and slept so sound.. woke up feeling really good.. don't know if it a placebo effect or working .. but I don't care.. it will have to suffice for now. Rhere are absolutely no vravings for alcohol.. don't get me wrong.. sometimes I miss that *******.. but then I remember the many many bottoms it decided to lead me down.no thanks.. I'm really enjoying my sobriety .. feels fantastic.. have a lot of support from my hubby.. here's to you and me babe

Thanks,, all of the positive feedback and encouragement on SR is amazing, i thank god i found this site, its been my lifeline. Just reading stories about how many have overcome their addictions is so inspiring, it give me hope and great joy, to, without a doubt know , i can do it too.

Wow 3 years is incredible..i hope to be where you are in three years as well. Long road and a tough fight im sure, but i truly believe we have the power to do anything we set our minds too.. we just have to stay strong and believe.

Maribel, I've struggled big time with keeping a positive attitude but slowly comin around. You'll make 3 years easy just a matter of time and it will be here before ya know it.
