Almost 72 Hours
This is my first post.
My drinking became a problem a little over a year ago after suffering a devastating loss. Since then, I've drank almost every single day since then, often far, far too much. It's prevented me from doing the things I want to be doing, and it's severely impacting my health.
The last time I drank was Saturday evening. The past couple of days I've felt so sick. I'm nauseous, shaky, sweaty, anxious, exhausted, etc. How much longer can I expect these feelings to last? I've managed to struggle my way through my work days yesterday and today, but I'm not sure I can do it again tomorrow. Please tell me the end of this stage is in sight...

You should be on the upswing soon but as least said- if you don't, def call a dr. You don't have to suffer through this alone, we are here for you! Drink lots of water, eat nutritious meals and rest. Even if you can't sleep just lay in bed and watch movies. That's how I got through the beginning. It's so worth it.
Took me four days. Of course, then I would drink again. Please don't fall into that cycle.
Remember how you feel now and what that next drink will bring.
It's nice to have you here, you'll find lots of support here.
Best to you.
