If anyone can do outpatient, I totally recommend doing it. My insurance is amazing and is covering everything except for a few copays.

I didn't think it was something that I actually needed until my doctor recommended it. My boyfriend even thought it was a little above and beyond. But I am going now instead of waiting to be ordered to go by the courts. It's hard work and I feel things that I haven't felt in years but if you can do an intensive outpatient program I highly recommend it.

3 outpatients and one inpatient and I still drank for 10 more years.

I am doing IOP right now and I fought it all the way (talk about not listening!). It is now proven to be one of the best things I could have done for myself. Thanks for posting this thread!
