In to his recovery, and I' m starting to see the man I married come back. He worked his IOP to the fullest, passed with a gold star(apparently they give diffrent color stars for how well you do, gold being the best, he was proud lol) and enrolled in after care without any prompting from me. He has hobbies again and new friends that dont drink.
I have my life back, no more constant worring or babysitting a grown man!
While there is still much work to be done, I can actully have normal rational conversations with an adult again and hopefully continue moving past this.
I' m aware of the sats on relasp, but Im not dwelling, just going to keep on one day at a time and keep hoping for the best.

I am so happy to hear this! It sounds like he is making a pretty good effort and changing your friends, thinking and they way you do things is a pretty good thing.
I wish you and your hubby many more goods days to come!

Congratulations Amisi! It's really nice to hear some positive news. It must be a big relief for you to feel like you are finally moving in a positive direction.
My partner quit drinking in November, but we're missing the "rational conversations" part big time. Hopefully this will come with time...
Best of luck!
