Day 2 .... again
Made it to nearly 30 days last time, can't remember the exact number but I think it was high 20s.
Had a business trip away, thought what the heck I'm on top of this, had a few drinks, and then a few more, next thing you know I was turning up to business meetings hungover and/or still drunk and counting the seconds for the work day to end so I could get back to drinking again to make myself feel better, rinse and repeat the next business day.
So, day 2 today, I think I am going to give sobriety another go for awhile.

Glad to see you James.
I did the same thing many times. Finally, it was such a relief to be rid of the anxiety and doubt it caused. It was no fun anymore and only brought me pain. You can do it this time - and be free from the chaos it causes in our lives.

Right there with you on day 2. I've been hitting over 10 days twice the past 4 months, given my history before that it's pretty encouraging. The start seems like the hardest part.. if you're anything like me days 10-20 probably didn't go by at a snails pace like the first few can

Luckily I did not really suffer any withdrawal symptoms yesterday, except my sleep last night was all over the place. Last time I quit, day 3 was really tough, but I think that even though I was drinking again it was not at the same level as before so I'm hopeful withdrawal with be minimal.
