grateful
Today I am feeling truly grateful.
Day 4 of sobriety - actually sleeping and eating.
I knew my car would be paid off this month (after 6 years!!!) but got a surprise today - I only owe 1/2 a payment!
Per my counselor's advice, I am going to the pound after work today to look for a new dog. I haven't had a dog in nearly a year and a half. I have been waiting because of boyfriend's cat, but he has agreed with her that having a dog will give me something to focus on other than drinking.
So I am feeling grateful today. Hopefully this feeling will last and help me fight off my AV!
Thanks for reading along!
