These things are tough right now
I'm midstream in divorce with AW. I feel like I'm still emotionally married to her though. I don't expect for a flip a switch & be over her, it's just where I'm at right now. I have to take this step to get to the next.
The weekend she moved out she got her second aggravated (high BAC) DUI. I learned she will most likely have to serve weekends in jail & found out she failed her urine test for alcohol. They'll test her again in 4 days or test for the previous 4 days, kind of a vague explanation I got. I feel really sad when I think about what a struggle it is for her. 4 days is an impossibility for her, I imagine the struggling, the shakes, the anxiety.......... I guess it never gets easy to see someone you love go through so much pain. Damn it its such a hard thing to leave her. But I have to.......... I didn't want to leave her, but I could not stay.............. She is the hands of her higher power.

You come first. Peace and serenity. Are you familiar with the Serenity Prayer?
Accept the things you cannot change-people, places and things. In the prayer
we pray for the ability to Accept what we cant change, the Courage to change
what we have the ability to change-and Wisdom to know the difference.
Its not easy to just sit -do nothing-until the right answer comes, but sometimes
there is great peace that comes from doing nothing right now about a circumstance-
and let others fret about the situation that they got themselves into.
