Feeling shaky.....
It was wednesday when i had my last drink....why do i still feel so rough....its as if my mind as gone strange..i only drove a couple of miles today and felt i was not in control at all...is there anything i can take..i'm dreading tonight ,if it was anything like the previous..i'm sure il'e go insane iv'e only had about 8 hours since wednesday..do you think a small toke could help..? iv'e also got a bad chest but would put up with it to get some kip.....
hi john,,, you are still in very early days my friend,,, the first week is always hard,, more on the physical side of not drinking,, have u seen a gp for help?
there are meds they can give , but pls go see gp if you can,,, dont be ashamed,, there are more of us than you know,,,
keep up the great work tho,,, 4th day today,,, well done,, and i must insist,, it DOES get easier each day,,, keep here and keep being positive and strong,,big hugs

It's pretty rocky at first..... I felt really good after a week, but then the fog set in. I was forgetful and scatter-brained - for several days I kept dropping everything. It was a little scary, but I just took it easy and tried keep stress at minimum. Not sleeping can definitely have an affect on you, too.
Try to pace yourself and rest when you can. Each day got a little better overall and I still noticed improvements even after a year sober. Hang in there!
