It does get better. I slept for the first 10 days. I could'nt complete sentances for 6 weeks. I dont have those problems now. It has been 84 days for me. Hang in there.

My first few days I felt like I had ADHD - I couldn't hold a thought in my head and would start something and any little thing would distract me.

It's pretty rocky at first..... I felt really good after a week, but then the fog set in. I was forgetful and scatter-brained - for several days I kept dropping everything. It was a little scary, but I just took it easy and tried keep stress at minimum. Not sleeping can definitely have an affect on you, too.

Try to pace yourself and rest when you can. Each day got a little better overall and I still noticed improvements even after a year sober. Hang in there!
