Hi bonnie,

Can you please explain Open Chat? I've been there twice and no one's answered. Does that mean no one was in the room? I've never been to a chat room before so I'm not sure how it works.

What about the AA meeting. Can new people enter? Do you just go to the meeting room and start typing when you want to respond or say something?

open chat is talking about whatever you want, best to be recovery oriented in this chatroom. You just go to the chatroom, see if anyone is there, and go to it. If there are ppl there, they can help you further. If you need to talk, you can pm someone and ask if they'll meet you there.

Re the AA meetings........ firstly, its best to be on time because the chair will give you all the instructions. I'll copy and paste what i tell ppl when i'm chairing........

Chat room is open 24/7. Your free to meet friends there and chat anytime other then scheduled meetings in which you can use the Sub-room "Open chat." If the yellow box is blank with just your name then no one is in the room. However, you can private message anyone online to meet you there if you choose.
