Satisfaction!
Just got a phone call from my brother who lives in Baton Rouge he has tickets for me & him to go see a Rolling Stones tribute band called Satisfaction.
The Rolling Stones are my #1 Band, seen them 8 times, I have a tatoo of there logo on my ankle.
Anyway this will be my 1st time in a bar since I started my recovery. I am a little nervous about going but I think, no, I know that I am strong enough to do this.
Just wanted to share this with you all. Wish me luck. I am excited about seeing the band, but not about being in a bar.

Janet, you go girl! You'll be strong enough to sail through a night in a bar. The concert sounds great. I finally went to see the Rolling Stones in Jan. 2003 and it was a fantastic show. I'm so glad I went. Hope you enjoy the tribute band. Sounds like fun.

((((Janet)))) go and have some fun, sing, dance, laugh, and you'll do just fine, and no regrets. You got lots supporting you here, all of us will be there with you in spirit. Boogie on girl, it's more fun going out and staying sober anyways.

The band was great. The singer was so cute he was Mick 30 years ago.
The best thing about the night was that you can have fun clean & sober.
I felt like I was 15 year old last night. My feet hurt.

Dan your glad my feet hurt! And I thought you would have offered to rub them down.
