Not so sure about your uniqueness in the sleep department, but there are folks in recovery half way around the world -- like Manila -- who are up when you are regardless.

Hang tough!

That is good because I rarely sleep at night out here.

Listening to the Jayhawkers which is my license plate. One thing that helps me is to accept how it is. I will sleep when I sleep. I am enjoying SR and music

You are not the only one. I was lying in bed wondering why I could not sleep. I bug the crap out of my husband with my insomnia. He is a light sleeper.

You can easily google and download episodes of "The Final 24" which is half hour TV shows about the last 24 hours of celebs' life.

Jimi, Janis, Jim, Keith Moon, Brian Jones, Nick Drake. Perhaps I'm a bit morose, but I enjoy watching it more than "intervention" TV. Guess I'm just an old school fart. They don't make music like that anymore. Waa!

But Richard Thompson and Daevid Allen are still alive.

I relate to the "insomnia group". I lie in bed, no sleep. The worst is to wake up, at about 2:00 a.m., after sleeping about 2 or3 hours and not able to get back to sleep!

I find sleep more frightening than refreshing. More often than not it's intermittent.

I have terrible insomnia..whether drunk or sober. There isnt a med on the planet that has helped to date. I can relate to the daytime sleeping..this is when I get the best sleep. Anymore..I just sleep whenever I feel tired. I have heard alot about that melatonin....was thinking bout trying it.
