Living in Sun.....introduction
Living in Sun.....introduction
Hello community.
I just found this terrific website. Glad I did. I was looking for speaker tapes and surfing the web for recovery-related forums. So far, I have found this site and intherooms.com to be the best of the best. Good sobriety here.
I have been in and out of the rooms for years. My left really fell apart in 2007 and has been a downward spiral since. I'm not ready to share my story here but in time, I will share. I've been a speaker at 3 meetings thus far and it felt real good to get it out. I also participate in H&I as much as I can.
My sobriety date is Feb. 7, 2012. I have a sponsor, a home group, a HP and I am working the steps. I try to go to at least one meeting a day. This last go around, I really developed my spiritual program and waited patiently for the miracle. It arrived. So many thoughts and emotions are swirling around me right now but it's a circle of gratitude, love and blessings. I am so fortunate to be in AA. It's a way of life second to none.
Anyway, "hello" and I look forward to getting to know you all and to be of service to my fellow AAs. I can't wait to make my way around.
Thanks,
Deb
