Simple check in here.... I am doing well to be honest.
I made the biggest promise to myself this last weekend.
"I will do anything and everything I need to do to stay sober. Nothing is off limits. No shame for telling anyone I need to. No level of effort is to big."
I have got my weekend plans in order. Have therapy tonight. A meeting tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. I started going since I needed to physical people support as well. Not a fan of the concepts of AA but do like the social part. So I will go and get from it what I need.
The meeting Sunday is all gay in the city. Partner and I are going. Will be his first. There are two but one is supposed to be so big they advertise that you need to arrive 30 minutes early to get a seat. There is another smaller one down the street. I will go to the smaller one. Not into crowds that big. They only let planned speakers and they have to have 5 years.
Will be on SR a lot this weekend. My second sober Sunday in the cross hairs.
I feel good... Strong... Hopeful for many things.
So.... That's all.

Your post is fascinating in that it expresses the three qualities expressed in one of the books of a major western religion.
You seem to have faith in yourself and especially the others who support you. You seem to have hope for what you are doing and where you are going. And you seem to be full of the love that life and others can provide. I would say you are on the track to a deeper and more fulfilling understanding of life!

Well it's true.
I like to say... No one gets a college degree by accident. If you want something you need to do what it takes.
It's really only very very recent I understood what it takes.
So.... I am off to college!
