Nothing feels better than a good night's sleep where when you wake up, you actually feel rested and ready to start the day. I wouldn't trade that for all the passing out I did so many years for a million dollars.

Glad to hear you are still on track.

Good to hear Mateo

You never have to write "I didn't sleep a wink" again....you persevered...and it only gets better.

It's a great feeling isn't it? I didn't sleep well for years. If only I'd realised that drinking was actually causing this!! I used it as I actually thought I couldn't sleep without it!!

Oh well, we live and learn!

You're doing great, keep going. It gets better and better xxx

You've done well! It took me a few months to get into normal sleeping!

Good for you! I know how much it sucks not to be able to sleep. I had an extreme fear of not being able to sleep and also used alcohol to sleep. I didn't realize that it was having the opposite effect. Now that I've been sober for 50 days, I sleep like a baby.

It definitely feels wonderful to know the difference in "tired" and "drunk" again. I've been dialing down my drinking for about a week now, and I'm on day 3 of full sobriety. And I think I'm going to take a nap after a very intense 3.5 hours of work this morning. No drink, no meds, just a nice afternoon nap after a good hard few hours of work. It's been a long time since that has happened for me.

So, what tips ended up working for you, Mateo? (Mine was going to bed very early and taking supplements, melatonin etc.)
