I am glad to be here.

Due to my past on alcohol, I am remaining sober for the rest of my life, i am not an alcoholic, i am a binge drinker and i have just grown tired of it. The binging on alcohol made my awareness, common sense, judgment, comprehension and knowledge poor. Through out my mistakes, i decided it was time to take a stand and stop to get back on the right track. Staying off alcohol and doing activities, which in time shall result in a clearer mind and body enabling me to access my existing knowledge simpler and faster and gaining better awareness, better thought processes, better sharpness, better judgment and a better rational mind.

I want to gain true, useful and positive knowledge to help me throughout my journey to become a better person.

I know i can never be perfect, at least in some ways i can be a better person. I have to do my best to leave negativity behind.

The End. ?

Welcome to SR, EliteSaijan. You will find a lot of support here. Congratulations on making the decision to stop drinking. It is a most wonderful gift you are giving yourself.

Just to mention, many alcoholics are binge drinkers. Alcoholism isn't determined by how often one drinks or even how much. What matters is how alcohol affects you, and whether or not you can have one or two and then feel satisfied and not want more. Not all alcoholics drink every day. Some can go days, weeks, and sometimes even months without a drink, but when they do drink, they lose control of how much they drink and often times, for how long their binge lasts.

Again, welcome to SR. We are ready to support you in your quest to stop drinking.

Hello, to all the recent repliers .

I've had my ups and downs. It has been good for the past few days.

I've decided to abstain from alcohol and get on with my life.

I am ready .

Well done for laying off it. Have you written a sobriety plan? If not, it'd be a good idea to start working on one - especially with Christmas and New Year looming
