This is a tough reading because I want so much financially.

I have lost much financially as a result of a life spent drinking.

Ruined credit and no money or job, combined for dreams for home ownership just don't go together! LOL

So...

I have to work on myself, sobriety, and my mind versus concentrating on what I don't have, or a mad dash on how I can get it.

Money is not the answer for me. (although I am sure it would help me...see there I go again! ha)

Getting me to realize that is a different story!

I have always had trouble with wanting things, feeling badly that I don't have them, but not doing the work to get the things I think I need.

Now I get to do it differently.

it took me 12 years to make the financial amends I needed to make.
we was able to get our own place when I hit the 8 year mark.my financial life was like your veritias when I got sober
