2 weeks clean
Good Morning - Just wanted to check in. Just had hip surgery on 6/4 from a bad car accident in December, but I am SOOOOOO proud today to say that I am 2 weeks clean from any prescriptions. Wellbutrin, Oxycodone, Perc's and Toradol. Nothing but Aleve to help with the pain and discomfort and simply listening to my body. I have been taking Vitamin B-12 10,000 mg to give me energt, but the simple fact that I haven't used, I am soooo proud. I've done this before, and this is it. So many bad things have continued to happen while on this drugs that I have to make the change. I have a divorce pending and recently lost my job again, but I am making the best of it with the summer with the kids and just enjoying the simple life I guess.
Don't get me wrong, I am craving the drugs just a few to help me get the house straightened up etc, but I'm not going to do it. I honestly think I have some major stomach issues going on for using the drugs for soooo long. Physically I cannot do the withdrawals anymore and I think this is God's way of telling me, straighten up. So here's to 2 weeks without any pain meds.
