One Year Today
I have made it to one year and what a year it has been. The best year of my life so far.
I wanted to write something profound and list the positive changes in my life but the words won't come. I am happy and at peace.
I did reward myself with a pair of shoes.
I am in Hong Kong, it's early morning and I will go to an 8 o,clock meeting. I went to 2 meetings yesterday. It was so good to be back in the rooms. It's been 3 months or more since my last meeting.
I don't know since I even decided to go to a meeting I felt happier and lighter.
I know now that I really need the fellowship of AA as well as the steps. I am isolating myself too much.
Thankyou AA and Sober recovery for getting and keeping me sober. I could not have done it without you.

Your acknowledgement means a lot to me. Yes Carol this is the most important birthday, this is when life began for me.
I went to a meeting this morning and I couldn't stop crying, , it was a good meeting lots of lovely people there, got my chip and some hugs went for coffee after.
I feel cared for and loved. (sniff sniff).
I feel emotionally tired but happy.
Thankyou so much everyone for being here for me, I will make the effort to get to meetings in future.
