I hope everyone in the US had a lovely holiday for many there first sober one. YIIPPPPPPPPEEEEEE. And for all other I hope you had a nice weekend.

My thoughts of today were as if you have any doubt what can help keep you sober. Just simply ask a long timer or older member of AA. And they will tell you that since they turned their lives over to the care of "God" as they and only they understand him. many of their problems have been lifted form their worries. All tossed to forgotten yesterday's. So when you allow yourself to get to upset about one thing , you only open the flood gates to many other problems that truly are out of our own control.

In any event take your life for all its now worth.

And smile cause sobriety looks good on You. !!!!!!!!

Excellent post, Inda! I struggled with sobriety until i started turning my life over to my Higher Power. With that, i began to feel like i wasn't alone anymore. I didn't have to carry the great weight of sobriety on my shoulders alone. It wasn't all up to me. I had help! I have help! And it's spilled over to every aspect of my life. What a relief it is to be free to ask for help. To not feel like i have to do everything on my own. To reach out and find that someone is always there to reach back in any aspect of my life. I think we can all take what we're learning in sobriety and apply it to our lives so we can keep improving and enriching our lives in every way. I hope everyone has had a joyous day and may tomorrow be just as fulfilling.

Well, maybe slightly less filling. I overdosed on burgers. I'm a wicked good chick behind the grill! Even better without a buzz.
