Hi. Just wanted to share my feelings. you were all so great when I have come here for support.

Today I feel good. The last 3 or 4 days I have really picked up. But last Friday, day 12, was my lowest point! Its not easy, an up and down but feel I am taking two steps forward and one back.

I have plans today. I have made my morning vow not to take a drink. Something I have only ever done this soberity, it works for me, it was something else I got from her.

The more I read this I realise it should be on the gratitude list. I have nothing much to say other than I am feeling good, thankful I am sober, and grateful to you all for being there for the past 17 days.

Sometimes I have huge rushes of excitment, when I let my mind wander to all the things I can do now I am sober, just how much the world holds. Obviously that is still a long way off for me. But right now day 17 without booze will do. tyou

Good for you Rachel...Do what you have to do to hang on to that. Don't forget where one drink can take you.

Well done , but as Sampling said dont forget why your here. Our minds love to forget the bad.

But on a happy note keep rocking this sober thing , so much more for you to see and enjoy.

Its good to share the good Rachel, we forget that feeling good is the main reason we want to stay sober (on account of the fact that booze makes us feel bad)

Yes, it might be a roller coaster, but at least you aren't numb. :-) Glad to know you have 17 days! Be proud friend.
