Starting again
Starting again, after about 3 months of out of control use of numerous substances. So here's to hopefully finishing my schooling clean, and being able to pass the year.

Good for you for picking yourself up and having the courage to start again. Many don't.
I failed so many times, I could't possibly count them, until I finaly 'got it'.
But, it's day by day. I know I won't pick up today, tomorrow is here and yesterday's gone. All I can do is stay sober today.
What works for me is thinking that first drink, or drug, through to the end and the misery it will bring.
Keep at it and don't give up!

Day 2, not bad. My parents found out that I have drunk at parties and are aware of that now. I didn't tell them the extent of it.
Bit stressed out about what they are going to talk to me about though. I don't like when they just say 'we need to talk about it more'. It's a bit of a stress...

) Just remember that they're really on your side. You both want what's best for you..... I think if you're honest about your problem and the pain you're feeling, it will help them help you - it's also a relief for us when we don't have to carry the burden by ourselves.It takes courage to admit our problem and reach out, and you did that today, so give yourself a pat on the back!
