I find the "Violins Radio" station on Pandora to be especially soothing. Try to slow your mind, and relax. You can get through this.

I am a new user to this site and have been suffering from detox symptoms for about 40 hours now... please please you don't need this again... it's awful and is taking me minutes to type this in because I am shaking so badly. This is the only way I can survive and I pray for you.

Quit, I know the grief of losing someone is overwhelming & stress of family can be brutal but drinking will only suspend your pain temporarily & then you'll have the guilt, shame& self loathing of starting over.
You can be victorious. Best to you both.
