My Non-Addict Son

Hey guess what? My Non-Addict son has just been appointed to be a Navy Pilot! He attends the Naval Academy in Annapolis. He will be here for Christmas and I am determined for the three of us to have fun! We are all going out to buy a tree together. I am going to decorate...something I never do as we usually go to my Mom's. But this year I am going to enjoy and relish in the Non-Addict son who is graduating college this spring and my Non-Addict hardworking, supportive husband!

When I follow the light...the shadows fall behind me...

There are a lot of Non-Addicts in my family that need some love and caring and the neat thing is...they swing it back at me !!!

It's a beautiful thing...

For too many years I set aside the joy of Christmas because of the sadness and darkness that was my life.

No more, today I embrace every moment, I celebrate with joy.

There is wonderful life all around us, I am glad you have not lost sight of the beautiful things (and people) in your world.

Hugs

Wonderful news! Congratulations to your son and your family. You will have a blessed holiday. Decorating is so therapeutic and there is nothing like the smell of the fresh Christmas tree

What an accomplishment for your son. I am so glad you are celebrating appropriately both for his accomplishment and for the holiday.
