and I am doing great!! I went to my Saturday a.m. meeting (speakers meeting) and it was powerful!!! Two old-timers with MANY years under their belts, approached me and hugged me and then told me they could SEE that I was getting it, and that I had a 'glow" about me, which made me feel better than I already felt!!

I took a long drive down a windy, country road, blaring my rock music, sunroof open, windows open, hair flying everywhere. It's my very favorite natural high, and I was "shocked" that I am remembering what getting excited without booze feels like, such an indescrible feeling!!!

Tonight I am driving two fellow members to another speaker's meeting and it feels good to be giving back in some way!!!

I also plan to ask a woman (one of this morning's speakers) if she will be my temporary or regular sponsor.

Just wanted to share, I feel so good!!!

New - that is great stuff. It's wonderful to see you so enthused.

Getting excited without booze - it's almost like we have to learn how to do that all over again. I was happy and high on life (sorry ) up until my 20's, and then something happened. Oh, right....that's when I started to drink.

Thanks for telling us about your happiness. You're doing great.
