12 hours
Lost - We are with you. Most of us have been through this & understand. I do agree seeing your doctor is important, if possible.
Once it's over, it's over - and you never have to go back to that place. You can do this.

Good job on the 12 hours .. I remember counting those hours too. Yes, get med. help if you can - just listen to your body, OK? Glad you have someone with you though. Also, drink lots of water - you have to stay hydrated .. do not dehydrate yourself (very bad, from personal experience). I found sipping on room temperature water was easier than trying to drink a cold glass. ... and take a nice warm bubble bath a few times a day - the baths really helped me .. felt like they were sucking toxins straight from my pores. An advil might help too. And if you can get moving, even just a fast walk around the house, it may take the edge off a little, but don't overdo. Get interested in a TV show if you can (while you're drinking your water), and sleep if you are able to.
Hang in there. As an above poster said, once this "worst part" is over, it's over. Then you can get on with the rest of it.
((hugs)) ... You'll be out the other side of this in no time. Please keep checking in, K?

I had visual and auditory hallucinations for 3 days--Alcoholic Hallucinosis. Still think you should seek help, it is a serious medical condition. Just my suggestion. Please take care of yourself and keep us posted.
