Are headaches alcohol withdrawel?

Had too much to drink saturday night, watery mouth headache at 3am the lot, joined here sunday morning.
Not had a drink since, woke up this morning with a headache.
This headache rings a bell on day 2 of me not drinking before, I think when it's happened I would drink that night & that got rid of it.
Did any of you get headaches because your body wanted a drink?
If so, how long do they last?
I dont intend to drink anything, hopefully ever again!

I have been prone to headaches and light-headedness when taking a few days off from drinking, but it usually passes. I don't know about your drinking or medical history, but keep an eye on your symptoms and please take care of yourself

A human body is feeling the effects of alcohol. Drink water. Seek Medical Advice from a Doctor and be honest about how you've abused your body....I don't know how much you drank, how long, height, weight, etc, but doctor would need that to help you.

I agree with sugarbear. Our brains are 70% water and when we dehydrate them with alcohol, headaches are only one symptom.

Water, water, water.

Keep on keepin on.
