Canada Day Holiday (Let's set the stage)
Tomorrow = Canada Day here in Canada, 3 day weekend.
So, I spent my lunch time 3 hours ago, eating my sandwich at a mall, and right across from me I saw 63 people (yes, I counted them) parading in and out of our local liquor store, coming out with C O L D beer, red and white wine, spiced rum, vodka, gin, YOU FRIGGING NAME IT.
I calmed down by rushing back to the office and making some iced tea.
Phew - that was quite the trigger.
Safe, now.
FOR now.
Let's keeping praying folks.

Yes, absolutely, Canada Day tomorrow and a beautiful long weekend for those of us in eastern Canada.
I have plans to spend time with my children and grandchildren tomorrow and also to do some serious hiking.

Well, not much difference in the States this weekend. Monday is the 4th of July so many folks also take tomorrow off to have a 4 day weekend.
Saw the same parade at the liquor store that is near my bank when I went to do some banking today.
I am sure the liquor departments in the grocery store and in Sam's will be quite busy tomorrow also, lol
Good weekend in North America to STAY HOME AND CHILL and off the roads.
Enjoy this Holiday Weekdend, sober and safe and please don't forget to have FUN!!!!!
Love and hugs,

This will be my 2nd Canada day sober
Last year I was a little over a month sober and it was much work keeping sober over this long weekend.
This year I am looking forward to the Canada day parade near our house, going strawberry picking with the kids and just relaxing outdoors as much as possible for the next 3 days.
What a difference 1 year can make.
