Kindergarten recovery

Hi. I feel like Im in day one of kindergarten. I hope to get something out of this forum, specifically sobriety.

Welcome. We have plenty of your countrymen here and I am sure they'll be along shortly. Interesting that you used the word "kindergarten". Bill Wilson, one of the founders of AA, wrote that AA is "spiritual kindergarten". Are you checking out AA?

Welcome selfportrait - I'm up way to late, but just wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum... Kindergarten is actually a good place to start - we admit we don't know anything about how to stay sober and the learning begins. I'm still learning after a year's sobriety.

Alcohol is a ruthless master, but you can get your life back. Glad you're here!

I've just joined today after starting reading the forums yesterday, posted today under just joined.
I'm on day 3 but I need to get through the 1st weekend, then past payday next moth, then on from there
