OT....Queensland Cyclone...

Please pray for our Queenslanders again. Just weeks after Qld experienced devastating floods, Northern Queenslanders are expecting tropical Cyclone Yasi to hit the coast in less than three hours. This will be the worst cyclone to hit our populated coastline in our country's history. It's a category 5 Cyclone (the worst). It's as large as Hurricane Katrina with winds expected to hit 300kms per hour and torrential rain and ocean surges and more flooding... Thanks everyone....

Thankyou for all your prayers and thoughts for our Northern Queenslanders. The cyclone was predicted to hit the highly populated areas between Cairns and Townsville. The eye of the cyclone ended up hitting the Mission Beach and Tully areas which are lower populated areas than the bigger towns. Cairns looks okay with some damage but not as bad as predicted as the eye did not pass over them. Waiting for Townsville and now to wait and see what's happened to the Mission Beach/Tully areas as there are no reports coming out of there yet...
