Talking A Small Step

Today is my RXABF's birthday. I have not contacted him to wish him a happy birthday. I did not phone, I did not text, I did not e-mail - I sent a birthday greeting into the universe instead.

Surprisingly, I'm not a quivering mess, as I thought I'd be.... (wait - Valentine's Day is only 13 days away!! ARRRGGGG )

Anyway - a small victory for me! And I'm proud of myself!!!

My axw's live in bf had to text LMC, because I forgot. But I do have a certain "gender advantage" when it comes to not remembering important dates. Kind of glad he texted, I'd of felt bad for about a minute if I'd of forgotten to remind her it was her mom's bday.

Should have sent her a case of wine. I know, I know.

Thanks and God bless us all,
Coyote

Nonchalantly: Meh. It's another day. (But then I currently feel like 2 weeks is just too far down the road to worry about... I'm trying to focus on 5 minutes, just 2 minutes, maybe just the next few seconds)

I plan on making cards with DS and then will buy myself a box of chocolate and flowers and little heart candies for DS. If it were just me, there'd be several boxes of chocolates and a huge colection of antique roses or peonies.... Instead it'll be a pretty bunch of flowers from the grocery store and one box of chocolate. Or maybe I will be extravagant.

Way to go, BumblingAlong!

Good for you! I have a feeling that there will be a lot of us posting here on Valentines day. I will probably invite a couple of my single friends over and make a decadent dinner complete with lots of chocolate for the kids!
