What Exactly Was I Thinking?
What Exactly Was I Thinking?
So, this morning I woke up... on day #9. And I swear for the past TWO days ... I have woke up thinking.... "what did I do last night?" And, my body convinced my I had drank... I mean it was crazy.... I was kinda fuzzy... and had a panic attack that I had done something wrong... and just could put my finger on it.
In truth last night I meeting with my sponser last night. And, then took care of a sick husband. If fact I did not drink!
It was the most crazy thing ever. I think my mind is have a hard time adjusting to the fact that I didn't do anything wrong last night. Maybe not so "Mind over matter" in this case...

This is _Not_ uncommon! Neither are "drunk dreams" where you dream (Very realisitcally. that you are bltized), but really you are not. I have no other explananation that it is your lower animal brain, that so misses the "pleasure" of a good drunk/buzz SO much, that is prompting these. Ignore them for what they are, dreams and unreality! STAY on your path!!

I've woken up with that fuzzy cant remember feeling...i go on autopilot (cats, coffee) and then i'm fine.
I attribute it to getting more deep, restful sober sleep. when i was drinking, my good sleeptime suffered, i was up and down all night.

Hi Saliena -
You might be having "drunk dreams" early in the AM. That's when I usually have mine..... in between hitting "snooze" on my alarm clock. As horrifying as they can be.....the elation when you realize that you really DIDN'T get loaded last night is equally as powerful.
Stick with it....it'll get better if you keep working for it.
