Football without beer? Cool.
All my life that I can recall, I have watched football, college and pro, drinking. Mainly beer. . .didn't know what it would be like this season without it. They just seem to go together.
WELL, I have to say I am really enjoying the games (tonight's especially -- Go Bears!) not drinking. Huh. Who knew?
Just felt like sharing it! Old habits may die hard, but they do die.

Even though I'd watch the games, I'd still have to tune into ESPN the next morning b/c I couldn't remember what happened and people would be asking me about it all.

It must be nice to have the refs keep blowing the whistle when we strip the ball. You bears (and falcons) fans are getting your first dose of the 2010 superbowl champions anchored by DPOY clay matthews III and Mr. rodgers (potential offensive mvp candidate). Wait till Finley starts getting the ball.

I think I'm enjoying the season more this year than I did while drinking! (With the exception of Carol's Falcons beating my Saints last night.... boohoo)
I'm actually interested in the standings, other teams, etc..... kinda keeping track of who's doing well so far. I can even do both SR AND football - now how can ya beat that?

Easy for me to watch Football without beer...now Vodka on the other hand. Well, that's pretty easy now too. Still...never would have known that last year.

Ahemnm........try watching the Lions if you wanna relive yer puking days!!! lol
3 1/2 yrs alcohol and drug free but close to 5 yrs Lions-free. Won't even watch highlights if I can help it - and my weekends are MUCH more enjoyable.
......just like drinking. Only total Lions abstinence works if you want to live happily in Michigan.
