Yes, just concentrate on your breathing.

Hang in there and you can get through this.

I'm so glad to hear back from you.

I have anxiety attacks too, and it can so scary. It seems like everything is whirling out of control. I have read that it really helps to focus on your physical body when that happens. Feel the sun on your skin, the wool of your sweater on your arm, that kind of thing. It works pretty well!

Concentrate on your breathing like the others said.

Try to say the abc's backwards or count to 100 by 3's are other distractions, I have learned to use.

Positive self talk, like it is just anxiety, it won't hurt me.

Focus on the things around you to get you out of your head.

ugh, i know that feeling. and the longer it seems to take, the more the anxiety gets built up till you are bascially praying it will hurry up and be over lol
even at work in a meeting with everyone i know i start to get that feeling.
i get panic attacks when im at traffic stops, what has worked for me lots is doing math in my head since im so bad at it, i even 'visualize' the equations. lol
2+2 is 4, 4+4 is 8, 8+8 is 16....then i keep on going like that till it gets really hard and i really have to think, before you know it, u have forgotten all about your anxiety because you are concentration so hard on figuring out the answer lol.
