Day 12

Today is day 12 and I feel great. Yesterday I attempted to drive to the liquor store but made a U-turn halfway there and headed back home. Don't know why I headed for the store in the first place other than it became a habit. One habit I'm looking forward to changing.

Yep, I've done the same thing. Sometimes when I'm tired and I walk into a gas station I head straight for the beer section because of habit. I have used the word "HOPE" as my safe word when I'm feeling any sort of urge to drink, just say it in my head and focus on it. I know if I take that first drink there in no hope. I'm going to get it tattooed on my wrist when I find the funds. How many days are you at now? I'm at 27 days now, and even though I have a miserable cold, I still feel better than I ever have. There's some hope for ya!
