Aw shucks, I am all affluster. It is a lovely warm, gooey feeling to be missed, and thank you all.
Haven't had a great time here, as had left foot swaddled to protect stitches in left foot, and arthritic right knee gave me hell. During this time, RAH was on the "throne" every 10 minutes and finally went to hospital ER for help when he had a heavy blood loss.
Since then it has been test after test and me hopping from place to place.
Thank God it is over.....I hope.
Pal of mine told me "If you want to make God laugh, tell him YOUR plans."
Well ho ho ho, guess He has been in stitches.
Haven't read anything here yet....but, FLYSWATTER???
What on earth are you up to now, Von?
Have just finished making invitations to my darling grand d's wedding and off to spend this weekend with all the family for eldest daughters birthday.
Will have to get myself organised, read thru posts and get back to work at poking fun at or lowering boom on whatever tickles my fancy on F & F here.

Von, with your case load I am not one bit surprised you forgot I was having the foot done.
I figure a fly swatter just won't cut it with a hanging on pest, so got some of the big guns out to see if they can budge him for you, URMY.

Thanks for checking in, Jadmack. I also missed you! I find myself reading through a thread, seeing that you've been reading the posts....and can't wait to get to YOUR comment. Always worth the wait! Thanks all, and to Von and Pelican. I am hoping to be able to get around a lot easier from now, as have to tart my place up for my mum's visit next month. New curtains, and hang some pictures and of course a couple of vases of flowers should look "real purty". It isn't a bad effort for a near 99 year old, flying 3000 kilometres to a wedding, and aren't we bursting to see her.
Now off to daughter's birthday party.

Well survived the birthday party and feel good, am measuring up for new curtains in lounge and dining area as friend gave me lovely material that is perfect, and FREE.
Lass next door will help me as she is dressmaker and offered to use her overlocker etc, so all should be in place in time for big day.
Grand D told nosey parker here that her hen's night was going to a burlesque show, which is true, but also said I am going as a can can dancer....NOT ON YOUR NELLY. NP fell for it and my pensioner compound is fairly jumping.....and I am not setting them straight. No doubt there will be eyes apopping behind curtains to see me leave home that night, so have a nice long evening cape to cover me up......I have a long black skirt with a gold and black lame long sleeve top, as befits an aged lady.
