Vitamin B?

Through out the past few days as I've read posts etc, I've noticed that vitamin B is mentioned quite often.

Can someone fill me in on what exactly it does?

Thanks!

I believe you lose this vitamin when you drink in excess. When I was in detox they would give me this vitamin. I just bought a Vitamin B Complex at the store the other day to help get my nutrients back in balance

Vitamin B has a lot to do with the nervous system and brain function. It also aids digestion and rejuvenation of cells. It's water soluble, so when we drink, we are often very low on B vitamin levels.

I have a question about vitamin B:

My multivitamin contains 100% of the daily vitamin B. Do people here take a multivitamin like mine and a supplement? I've assumed that my multivitamin is giving me all I need. Any thoughts?

I always assumed my multivitamin gave me my recommended daily dose, Melinda. Anymore than that and I was playing doctor which I wanted to get away from.

I didn't go looking for extra anyway - and I turned out ok...I think LOL

For me, I take a Bcomplex, as well as a multi-vitamin. It's my understanding that absorbtion of vitamin B is not always easy.

I also take extra vitamin B6 when I in a stressful situation because it is believed to help with depression and fatigue.
