go ahead scream let it out! I did. whew what a relief. I know my dogs think I have lost my mind but hey they ain't talking it's our little secret.

.... the pregnant question... It is so annoying. I wonder if the fact that people around us asked that questions means something about our drinking or about their drinking or both! Are all my friends such big drinkers that they cannot conceive another reason? Or is this due to the well-deserved image they have of myself of being a heavy drinker except when I was pregnant and breastfeeding? Or is it both?

Would love to be this kind of ingenous person who can come up with a great answer for this question...

My friends only saw me without a drink in my hand during two occassions. When I was pregnant (except a little champagne at New Year) and when on antibiotics. In my case they just cannot conceive of me not drinking! My mum said I should just wind them up and say I am but I'm afraid of the "oh I thought you'd put a few pounds on". I haven't stopped eating this week. Look like a Telletubby.

My close friends, boyfriend and now my parents all know. Others I'm being a bit more careful about who I tell. I work in a school and I don't trust everybody!
