lost count on how long I've been sober

I think that's a good thing....although I still struggle with mental illness and have been in and out of the hospital ....I've also managed to hang onto my new career.....

ya that is probably a good thing... just don't let a be a reason for you to drink/use again. Mental illness is hard to deal with I know I have issues myself. Hugs<3 Glad you were able to hold unto a job. I have bad luck with that myself.

I too struggle with mental illness but I must say it's not near as bad now that I'm no longer drinking.

I think it is fantastic that you lost count! It shows that you are comfortable with where you are at and that you are living in the present instead of wishing for the life you left behind.

Congratulations! I look forward to the day when I have totally lost count and just don't care how long it has been since my last drink.
