Yes, I made it to Saturday Day 8 and while I have those little urges to take a drink....nope not giving in ever. I have have been kicking myself in gear to make positive changes and that has been my focus - feeling good. Every day I go to base and run Marley out. Went to a Pampered chef party too. Well that was more just to see people again in a social setting and it took 4 hours out of my day sitting around and thinking. Sometimes we need to limit the thinking if you know what I mean. Reflection is one thing but dwelling is another. Yeah guys....I am a dweller btw.

Playing tons of happy music and getting up each morning and showering and looking descent. I couldn't even get out of bed if you recall.

Had my pre-employment physical yesterday and passed....YAYYY. Should have all docs in early next week to start inprocessing so I can work. I love children and they always bring out the best in me so I can't wait. Hubby came home yesterday!!! I was so shocked!! While so happy I have a bit anxiety last night. Hubby is so supportive and he knows I am program in place that is working and I have made changes so he also is adjusting to them.

Ok well thats it for now. Just wanted to do an update and let everyone know that I went from the ashes last week to this so just take it one day at a time. Keep positive and surround yourself with good people.

As for my Saturday I'll be off to get new tires put on my car this morning.

I woke up, still laying in bed and was thinking "gotta get up and get ready for work, get the child up for school, get cracking on my homework............." and then remembered IT'S SATURDAY!!!!!!!!! My son is with his dad this weekend too, so while I'm up early, I'm having a nice slooooooooooooooooow morning.

I'm glad your recovery is going well. I WAS going to sleep in today, the one day of the week I can do that, but my dog wanted to go out at six am!! So now I'm wide awake! We're supposed to get thunderstorms today but I'm content to stay home and watch movies and play on the computer to pass the time.
