Some of you may remember me mentioning my Grandpa the one who used to kick my butt and make me get back on my horse, lol...
Strongest man I know, he fell of the top of a HUGE building (like a Target) but a different one, to the ground, and they said he wouldn't live until the amublence got there, then till the hosp.
Blah blah blah, he survived everything they said he would, then he walked.
He has taken care of 5 acres of property, horses, steers, you name it since.
I thought of him often when I was detoxing from meth. I truly believed part of what he taught me and who he taught me to be is a big reason I was able to stop.
He's not doing so good. So he needs some prayers if you have time.

It's so nice to hear that you have such a great role model in your life. He sounds like a good man. He must be very proud of you.

I think I got the thanks button on everyone, I miss it sometimes.
So Thank You. He made it through the night. (again)
They said yesterday more or less he was going to go.
Guess he's just not ready. Made myself go to dance last night. Couldn't
sleep last night. Just keeping busy.
I know they all have to go sometime, but he's one of them who I've always
really dreaded losing. I think we have some people who have shaped who we
are and our lives more than any others even when they aren't around just
because they were there.
I've lost so many people in my life I'm used to it, but every so often when it
happens feel like a hammer is pounding the chest. Last death I had like that
I was on meth.
But maybe he's not ready yet so no more talk about death just yet.
Only prayers.
