6 months!
Well, today is Day 184, exactly six months since I went to the emergency room and answered the wake-up call that I had been ignoring for several years.

Every day I wake up refreshed, with a clear head and a clear conscience. I make myself a promise that, just for today, I will not take that first drink. Then I come here to remind myself that I am not alone. Then I get on with the business of sober living. I really feel that I've gotten my life back.

Thank you to everyone here who has offered their support and shared their experiences. I am grateful for each and every one of you.

That is wonderful congrats! I am trying t o figure out how to get through the first day, and I am sorry I know this post is about you, and I dont want to end up in the hospital before I have that first day...
