Hi Everyone!
I couldn't pass through and not say anything to my SR family.
It's been a very very very (one very for every year I've been away) long time....I've thought of all of you often during these past few years.
Just a slight update: I'm doing well. I have my good days and bad days but that is life I suppose. I'm still divorced but I do keep in contact with my exAH from time to time. I've steadily been trying to work on my side of things and becoming the person I'd always hoped to be. Just this past summer I took my first solo trip. I went to the Bahamas and learned how to enjoy my own company. What did I learn? I'm a fun gal! And...I enjoy being with me...LOL! And...I love Conch Fritters and Jetskis. I also make time every year to visit a friend that I made on this very site.
I'm still a work in progress (...and it never ends) but the point is...I was able to find my way through the muck and realize that I'm important enough to be saved from a life of someone elses addiction. Who knows what the future may hold but it doesn't look nearly as bleak as it used to.
Otherwise...life has been (dare I say it?) "NORMAL". Boring at times and lonely at times but absolutely and positively "NORMAL".

It's so good to see you and I am glad things are going well.
I remember your darker days and it is so nice to hear that your hard work has brought you to better days.
Don't be a stranger, it's nice for the newcomers to hear your story, if you care to share it when you get time.

I've actually gotten pretty protective of it, myself!!
