Hi. I'm new.
Hey all. My name is Crystal. I just joined this forum after someone on the oxygen forum suggested it for me. I am addicted to prescription pain pills, and I am trying so hard to get off of them. I need all the support, help and suggestions I can get. I am taking suboxone, but I don't go to the dr to get it. I don't have insurance, and I can't afford to pay out of my pocket for dr visits. I took it for a few days, but I've messed up the last 2 or 3 days I think. I'm really struggling. So today I'm back to day one. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks.

Welcome to SR Crystal, go to Social Services and be totally honest with them, contrary to popular belief in the US if one needs medical help they can get it, they just need to go to the right people, be honest and ask for help.
BTW if you are getting suboxone of the street & get caught you could wind up detoxingf in jail......... please go to Social Services, they can point you in the right direction.

Hi Crystal! Don't be afraid to share or ask more questions. While we cannot offer medical advise on this site, I know people here will relate a lot to what you're going through and may be able to share with you "what they did".
Welcome to SR!! This site is wonderful!!

Hi Crysfromtn
Welcome to SR
I'm not in the States, but I have no reason to doubt Taz
please do go and see Social Services....I think it's best to be under a doctors care, period, and certainly with a suboxone program.
Come down and check out the Substance Abuse forum sometime too

Hello Crystal, is there any 'free' (low-income qualifying) clinics in Tennessee?
I hope that your recovery will include more spiritual-oxone than suboxone. Simple is better. But if you need a little help at the beginning of your recovery to maintain sobriety --go for it. Long-term sobriety will give your mind enough time to gain more momentum for long-term recovery.
You got my prayer.
