What kinda things does your community

offer to support your recovery?

Mine has a Recovery project that offers alot of social activities and peer support. I also have a mental disorder and there is place in town to drop in and do things and get a bit of support for the off times.

So are these things offered in your community? and if not where do you find support for your recovery?

There is a lot offered in the community here. I'm lucky that my support is easy access through the treatment center I went to. There are a lot of local state funded agencies that do help those in need. A lot of them!! It's the getting through the red tape that's the pain in the butt.

By community, i assume you are referring to the normal civilized society of people without drug or alcohol problems?
In that respect...i do not know.

i find support for my recovery with those who are living a simple way of life by applying spiritual principles.
i share my life with those who are willing to share theirs with me in a fellowship of recovering alcoholics & addicts.
When in public, i conduct myself according to the progress i have made in that shared recovery.
